Delivery
Objects ship within 3 working days. Lighting ships within 5. Furniture is made to order and typically ships in 4–6 weeks; we send a confirmed date at checkout and again when the piece leaves the workshop.
Throughout Europe, the UK, the United States and Japan. Shipping is complimentary within the EU on orders over €200. Duties outside the EU are shown at checkout, not on arrival.
Yes. Choose collection at checkout and we will hold the piece at Vesterbrogade for up to 30 days. Furniture collection is by appointment so that we can help you load it.
Returns & guarantee
30 days for objects and 14 days for furniture, in original condition. We arrange collection for anything larger than a lamp. Custom finishes and numbered editions are final.
Structure: joints, frames, fittings and finishes failing under normal use. It does not cover wear, patina or damage from misuse — and it transfers with the piece if you sell it on.
Photograph it before you unpack further and write to hello@halden.studio within 48 hours. We replace or repair, whichever is faster, and we collect the packaging.
Materials & care
Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid soaking. Once a year, lightly sand with 240 grit and re-oil with hard-wax oil. Rings and scratches sand out; this is the reason we do not lacquer.
Yes — bowls, jars and vessels are fired at 1260 °C and fully vitrified. Raw exteriors darken slowly with use. Figures are decorative and should be dusted only.
No. Unlacquered brass darkens from the first day. Lemon juice and salt on a soft cloth returns it to bright if you prefer; most owners let it patina.
Machine wash at 30 °C, tumble dry low or line dry. Expect creases. Do not bleach.

Oak, brass and linen swatches ship free to trade customers. Stoneware glaze tiles are available on request.

Privacy
Summary — replace with your full policy
We keep what an order needs — your name, delivery address, email and what you bought — and nothing more. Order records are kept for five years, as bookkeeping law requires; anything else is deleted when you ask. The site sets no tracking cookies: your bag and saved pieces live in your own browser, and we use no analytics that follow you elsewhere. Write to hello@halden.studio to see, correct or remove what we hold.

Prices include VAT; shipping and any duties are calculated at checkout, and furniture ships on the date confirmed when you order. Returns of unused pieces in original condition are accepted within 30 days for objects, 14 days for furniture. Every piece carries a 10-year structural guarantee on joints, frames and fittings, which transfers with the piece to its next owner. Halden ApS trades under Danish law, and nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.
